The subject

In „DGF“ we learn everything we have to know to have the chance for being a photagrapher later. How to handle the camera settings, having an eye for motives, editing photos later on, different camera types and brands…

Digital cameras

„Photography is the beauty of life captured.“

What is ISO, and how does it affect photos?

ISO measures the camera’s sensitivity to light. A lower ISO (e.g. 100) means less sensitivity and cleaner images; a higher ISO (e.g. 3200) is better for low light but can cause more noise.

Why are RAW files better than JPEG?

RAW files store uncompressed image data, allowing more flexibility in editing (exposure, color, detail). JPEGs are smaller but compressed, losing some image information

How do I clean my camera and lens safely?

Use a soft microfiber cloth, lens cleaning solution, and a blower for dust. Avoid touching the sensor or lens glass with your fingers.

What is the difference between a DSLR and a mirrorless camera?

DSLRs use a mirror and optical viewfinder; mirrorless cameras do not, making them usually lighter and more compact. Both can produce high-quality images.
